Mongolia Government Selects Shengda for Large-Scale LoRaWAN Smart Metering Project

Shengda is proud to announce the successful award of a major smart water metering contract from the Government Agency of Orkhon Province, Mongolia. The contract was officially signed by Ms. Miranda, General Manager of Shengda Water Meter, marking the formal launch of the project.

After a comprehensive six-month international tender process, Shengda was chosen as the preferred supplier for the province's smart metering modernization initiative.

First Phase Contract Covers 15,000 Smart Water Meters

The customer has officially signed the contract and released the first order for 15,000 units of OEM LoRaWAN Smart Water Meters.

The project is designed to support the deployment of a modern remote meter reading system and improve the efficiency of municipal water management operations.

By implementing advanced IoT water meter technology, local authorities will be able to collect consumption data automatically, reduce operational costs, and improve billing accuracy.
