Helping Yemen Modernize Its Water Infrastructure with Reliable Multi Jet Water Meters

As part of its ongoing efforts to modernize and stabilize public utilities, the Yemeni government launched several large-scale tender projects in 2025. Among them, a key initiative involves the replacement and installation of over 76,000 mechanical water meters to ensure more accurate billing and efficient water management.

Kaifeng Shengda Water Meter Co., Ltd. was honored to be one of the shortlisted suppliers. In preparation for this massive undertaking, the Yemeni client made a special visit to our production facility to evaluate our product quality, production capacity, and technical support system.

Our multi jet water meters, particularly the R160 model, are designed for regions like Yemen where water systems face irregular pressure and aging infrastructure. These meters offer precise measurement, a wide range ratio (Q3/Q1 = R160), and a robust internal structure that resists wear and environmental factors.

During the factory tour, we demonstrated our full production capabilities, including precision machining, automated calibration lines, and 100% testing before shipment. Our transparent process and commitment to quality gave the client full confidence in our ability to deliver on time and to specification.

Although many water meter tenders are being issued across Yemen, only a few buyers take the time to personally verify their supplier. We deeply appreciate this client’s visit, and we look forward to making a lasting contribution to Yemen’s water infrastructure improvement.
