SDWM recently hosted a delegation of two clients from Burkina Faso, who visited our manufacturing facility to evaluate STS prepaid water meter solutions for local water supply applications.

The visit coincided with the ongoing production of an African project consisting of 8,000 STS prepaid water meters, allowing the clients to witness large-scale manufacturing in real time. From raw material inspection to assembly, calibration, and final testing, the entire production process was fully open for review.

STS prepaid water meters are an effective solution for improving billing efficiency and reducing water losses in developing regions. During the technical exchange, SDWM engineers explained the working principles of STS token systems, data security mechanisms, anti-tamper features, and long-term operational reliability.

The clients paid particular attention to production capacity, delivery timelines, and consistency of quality — all critical factors for municipal water projects. The on-site production line demonstrated SD Flowmeter’s ability to handle bulk orders while maintaining strict quality standards.
